[Video] E3 Exclusive Hands-on with Scribblenauts Unlimited

Scribblenauts and Super Scribblenauts were break out successes for developer 5th Cell, so it’s no small surprise that the developers are bringing Maxwell and his massive lexicon to Wii U. We got a chance to have some fun with the game and the most notable difference is instead of individual levels, Maxwell can undertake quests in a new setting that can have multiple solutions in a continuous environment that can be explored at your leisure.

For example, one encounter we got a chance to see was a tree hugger versus a lumberjack, where you can decide to help either party by creating an item. Item creation in the game is handled by the touchscreen, which is much more fluid than the DS counterparts.

As much as I loved the idea for the original, it never really clicked with me. Aardvarks are bosses by the way.

Haha! Yeah, the original was fun for a little bit, but controls kinda got in the way of things. Same with this version unfortunately =/
