Square Enix has announced a pretty awesome multiplayer feature for Hitman: Absolution. “Contracts” will allow gamers to create and share assassination challenges with other players.
Here’s how it works. Players pick weapons and disguises, then head into one of the game’s single-player levels where they will tag up to three NPC targets. Online friends then enter the level and carry out the assignment(s) as fast as possible. The reward for each contract depends on the player’s speed and whether or not they’ve fulfilled certain or all conditions of the hit.
Just when you thought virtual assassinating couldn’t get any better! This feature looks to be killer (sorry I had to) and one that Square Enix is most likely banking on to give Hitman: Absolution high replay value.
