Both the Wii U launch and Black Friday are right around the corner. And there are already going to be some deals on games for Nintendo’s newest hardware. Though will these deals pale in comparison to Xbox 360 and PS3 deals?

Of course not. Wii U will be brand new and this is likely the worst timing for a new console launch, right before Black Friday when everyone is as cheap as they come. A new console is not going to be the best way to save funds on the latest games. Especially when many of those Wii U games have either already been or are also on the other two systems.

Moving on, this is not about bashing the Wii U. Instead I’m here to share with you some deals you may want to think about swooping on when the Black Friday rolls around.

  • Batman Arkham City Armored Edition – $49.99
  • Fifa Soccer 13 – $49.99
  • Scribblenauts Unlimited – $49.99
  • Game Party – $29.99

Old Navy

  • Free New Super Mario Bros Wii U game with $40 purchase (doorbuster with very limited quantities)

Toys’R Us

  • Buy 1 Get 1 40% on all Wii U video games (Thursday 8pm to Friday close)
