For months Uncharted fans have been waiting for the update that would bring online co-op matches to Uncharted 4. Well, guess what? It’s here! Although this update doesn’t add the fan favorite Co-Op Adventure, we do have a variation on Co-Op Arena with “Survival.” Similar to Co-Op Arena in previous Uncharted multiplayer games, the objective with Survival is to survive oncoming waves of enemies. With this iteration, Naughty Dog has taken inspiration from more modern-day survival modes like Horde from Gears of War and Firefight from Halo with a rotating objectives system within the mode. What this means is that instead of purely being a survival-based mode, there will be set things to accomplish each round. The five objectives are survive, siege (kill enemies while standing in a certain area), treasure race (grab treasures around the map), marked man (kill a certain target), and boss waves (kill the pirate ghosts).

Since the mode is now available, we’re streaming it on our YouTube channel so you can get a feel for what to expect from this new addition to the Uncharted 4 multiplayer suite. If you have any questions, feel free to comment here or on the video above and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
