Rocketbirds: Harboiled Chicken was original released on PSN for PlayStation 3 and also on Steam for PC. Now it gets portable with a plethora of exclusive extras when it comes to Vita next week in both North America and Europe.

The PS3 version received positive reviews overall and has apparently garnered enough sales across the different digital distribution platforms to merit this Vita repeat. This full PS3 port will come with its own flavor specifically for Vita including new chapters, new puzzles, motion enabled screen tilting, and online/ad hoc co-op.

Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken for Vita will also feature a new final boss, better visuals than previous versions, and two difficulty settings. If you’ve played the PS3 version of the game previously, then you will be granted access to two new co-op characters: Sniper Budgie and Agent H. Furthermore, the developer Ratloop Asia would like to thank you for buying the PS3 version by offering the Vita version at a discount.

PlayStation Plus will feature a special offer for Rocketbirds games sometime in February. No word on whether it will be a day one deal or during the weeks that follow the Vita release. Keep in mind, Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken is an M rated game and not intended to be played the feint of heart. No chickens were harmed in the making of this post.
