We are live at NVIDIA’s GTC conference with all your live coverage! It is a big developer conference, but we also get some great hands-on time with some of the coolest new devices in the industry. One of the most interesting booths at the show floor was Nuidroid’s, especially if you are one of the many OUYA fans around here.

Nuidroid creates a Kinect-like experience for the OUYA. It allows the Android-based console to use a camera with skeletal tracking. As you can see in the video above, one can use body motion to control the flying Android robot across space. It is a bit buggy and sometimes doesn’t recognize movement very well, but remember this is still a prototype demo. Everything should be smooth upon release.

Cassie mentions that they are currently contacting possible partners to release this software. They are hoping to release their product on OUYA, TVs and possibly even appliances. It is much more than a gaming motion controller, we might be using Nuidroid’s software on many devices soon! Keep up the good work, Nuidroid!

Just out of curiosity, how many of you would be interested in using Nuidroid’s solutions on the OUYA?
